Kengo: Galaxea Dynamics' first bipedal humanoid robot

Galaxea Dynamics unveiled Kengo on June 2, 2026 as its first self-developed bipedal humanoid robot. Specifically, the Beijing-based startup designed Kengo for real-world commercial deployment from day one. Unlike many humanoids that stop at demos, Kengo targets practical work across factories, commercial spaces, and homes. Additionally, the robot stands at human scale with a curved display face and signature LED lighting strips along the body. As a result, Kengo carries a distinct visual identity rather than blending into the growing humanoid crowd.

Engineered for mass production

Galaxea built Kengo with mass production in mind from the start. Specifically, just two core actuator modules drive every joint on the robot. Therefore, the manufacturing process stays simpler and the cost curve drops as production scales. In addition, the actuators use a fully hollow architecture, and the cables carry a rating of over 200,000 bending cycles. Each joint also delivers over 130 newton-meters of torque. Furthermore, the lightweight body lets Kengo move with dynamic agility — dancing, fighting stances, and explosive demos.
